THE TOP 7 HOTELS I VISITED IN 2020

Good evening everyone! I hope that you are well and mainly - that you are staying safe and healthy. Today I would like to reflect back on 2020 and talk about my favourite 7 hotels in which I stayed at last year. From a very special location over excellent cuisine to an overall 10 out of 10 experience - here are my top 7 picks for 2020 with a little explanation I chose them!

Krásný večer všem! Doufám, že se všichni máte dobře a že jste především zdraví. Dneska bych se chtěla ohlédnout zpátky do roku 2020 a ukázat Vám 7 hotelů, který jsem minulý rok navštívila, a které mě zaujaly. Ikdyž cestování je momentálně dost omezené, doporučuji si článek uložit a vvyužít ho v budoucnu až bude svět opět v "normálu".

ZHERO HOTEL ISCHGL / KAPPL

Zhero Hotel Ischgl / Kappl is a 5-star design hotel located, as the name is already saying, between Ischgl and Kappl. We loved the hotel for many reasons: the interior of Zhero is simply amazing, they have spacious rooms with a great view over the valley, a free shuttle service between the hotel and Ischgl or Kappl, an outstanding menu every evening and also - really friendly staff. I think this hotel was definitely one of the best ones I have been to last year and I am definitely looking forward to staying there again!

Zhero Hotel Ischgl / Kappl je 5-i hvězdičkový hotel, který - jak už podle názvu můžete uhodnout - leží mezi rakouským Ishcglem a Kapplem. Tenhle designový hotel je skvělý ve všech ohledech: má skvělý interiér, prostorné pokoje s výhledem, výborné jídlo, velké spa s bazeném a také shuttle do Iscghlu i Kapplu, který je pro hotelové hosty zcela zdarama - jezdí od 8.00 do půlnoci. Za mě osobně je hotel opravdu skvělý a kdyby nebylo Rakousko v lockdownu, určitě bych se do něj tuto zimu podívala. 

RAFFLES MALDIVES

Another hotel worth the mention is the luxurious Raffles Maldives where we got the chance to stay at during our Maldives trip in February. The hotel is an absolute dream: you can choose between staying in the Beach Villa or in the Water Villa - which is one of the few houses built on a separate island! To be honest I always saw myself as a Water Villa person however trying out their amazing Beach Villa - I have to say you will have an amazing time in both! In Meradhoo we saw one of the best sunsets in the whole Maldives and the whole experience there felt like a real dream-come-true!

Další hotel, který bych chtěla zmínit, je Raffles Maldives. Do Raffles, který se nachází na ostrově Meradhoo, jsme měli tu příležitost se podívat v březnu a musím říct, že náš pobyt byl opravdu vyjímečný. Měli jsme možnost se ubytovat jak v Beach Ville, tak ve Water Ville a přestože jsem vždycky zastávala vodní villy, musím říct, že i plážová villa byla v Raffles opravdu nádherná. Na ostrově jsme viděli jedny z nejhezčích západů slunce a celkově náš pobyt byl nezapomenutelný. 

HOTEL PICCOLO SANT ANDREA PRAIANO

A hotel which I found absolutely amazing was the Hotel Piccolo Sant Andrea in Praiano, but actually located between Positano and Praiano. The hotel was an excellent choice - since it is located in between both cities, it feels like an absolute, quiet paradise. The rooms have balconies with an outside shower and amazing views. The hotel has a main pool in which we were, most of the time, completely alone. And you do not have to worry about going to Positano: there is a complimentary shuttle to the city every hour - which is way more comfortable, cheaper and convenient!

Další hotel, který jsem si opravdu zamilovala, je z Itálie - a to konkrétně z pobřeží Amalfi, Hotel Piccolo Sant Andrea. Tenhle 5-i hvězdičkový hotel najdete mezi itaskými městečky Positano a Praiano a díky své unikátní poloze si v něm budete připadat jako v oáze klidu. Tenhle rodinný hotel má krásně zařízené pokoje s balkony s krásným výhledem a venkovní sprchou. V hotelu také najdete restauraci s výhledem na Positano, venkovní i vnitřní bazén, posilovnu a bar. Do Positana má hotel pro své hosty zajištěný bezplatný shuttle, který jezdí od 8.00 do 23.00!

ONE&ONLY THE PALM

I have known the One&Only Royal Mirage from social media however I was not aware that there is also One&Only the Palm. I have to say that our stay at this property was one of the best hotel experiences in 2020. The hotel is located at the very tip of the Palm Jumeirah and feels very private and quiet. The 5-star luxury One&Only the Palm has a lot to offer: from luxurious accommodations in Arabic styles, 2 main pools, a soft beach with a lot of privacy, a Guerlain spa, gym, tennis courts and even its private boat transfer & deck. For me this was an unforgettable stay!

V Dubaji jsem znala již One&Only Royal Mirage z Instagramu, ale do naší poslední návštěvy Dubaje jsem netušila, že je v Dubaji ještě jeden hotel stejné značky - a to One&Only the Palm. Nachází na samotném konci jednoho "křídla" Palmy, takže v hotelu máte naprosté soukromí. Za mě byl pobyt v One&Only The Palm jeden z nejluxusnějších pobytů, které jsem v Dubaji kdy zažila: krásné, prostorné pokoje zařízené v arabském stylu, 2 bazény, 3 restaurace, spa od značky Guerlain s posilovnou, tenisové kurty a také vlastní přístav, ze kterého každou hodinu můžete jet do "sousedního" One&Only Royal Mirage. Za mě rozhodně 10 z 10. 

INTERCONTINENTAL MALDIVES

Another mention from the Maldives is the newly opened Intercontinental Maldives Maamunagau. For me personally this was one of the best hotels in Maldives when it comes to price-quality comparison. I think that the hotel is amazing: the villas are spacious enough, the island is big enough to walk around, the spa with the lighthouse is so special and so is their Möet bar. What I found especially amazing during our stay there was the marine life - we were able to spot dolphins while eating breakfast - yes, you read right!

Další zmínkou z Malediv, je poměrně nově otevřený Intercontinental Maldives, který se nachází na ostrově Maamunau, který je atolu UNESCO. Pro mě byl Intercontinental hotelem, který podle mě nejlepší poměr ceny ke kvalitě. Hotel byl opravdu skvělý, pokoje prostorné, skvělé spa - nejvíce jsem ale ocenila "mořský život", který byl na Maamunagau neskutečný - například při snídani jsme meli možnost vidět delfíny...

V1 BUDAPEST

V1 Budapest is technically not a hotel, as it is an apartment which you can rent, however I felt like it was a pity not to include it in this post just because of that. This was my second stay in the apartment and just like the first time, everything was perfect. In my opinion they have the best view in town and this will be my number 1 place to stay at in Budapest!

 

V1 Budapest sice není hotel, ale přišla mi škoda ho sem nezařadit jenom kvůli této technikalitě. Minulý rok jsem byla v bytě ubytované již podruhé a musím říct, že mi vyhovuej jak polohou, tak vybavením. Navíc má podle mě ten nejelpší výhled v celé Budapešti, takže pokud se do města znovu budu chystat, V1 bude pro mě rozhodně volbou číslo jedna.

DAS CENTRAL SÖLDEN

My last, but not least, mention is the Das Central Hotel in Sölden. Last year it was my second visit of the hotel and it was as amazing as the first time. I feel like the Das Central is definitely one of the most luxurious hotels in the village. What I really like about the place is not only the traditional "mountain" design and their amazing food & friendly staff, but also the fact that there is a free shuttle to the cabin and also they special events, like "Wein am Berg" which I personally thought was brilliant back in 2016!

Moje poslední zmínka tohoto článku je skvělý Das Central Hotel, který najdete v lyžařském centru Sölden. V hotelu jsem byla již v roce 2016 a minulý rok jsem mělu tu možnostu se do Centralu podívat znovu. Podle mě je to jeden z nejlepších hotelů, které ve vesničce najdete. Hotel má skvělý "tyrolský" design, vynikající kuchyni, krásné spa, příjemný personál a také zdarma shuttle až k lanovce. Navíc pořádá také skvělé eventy, jako je například Wein am Berg!
