MY STAY AT THE MANDARIN ORIENTAL PARIS

Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Today I would like to tell you a little bit more about our stay at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Paris. I think I don’t have to introduce the property to you as I am pretty sure you’ve already read about my stay there back in 2019.

Krásné ráno všem! Dneska Vám opět zdravím v Paříže a v dnešním článku bych Vám ráda shrnula a ukázala fotky z našeho pobytu v hotelu Mandarin Oriental v Paříži. V něm jsem bydlela již potřetí a věřím, že ho tu nijak dopodrobna představovat nemusím...

ABOUT THE HOTEL

However, if you haven’t read it - Mandarin Oriental Paris one is 5-star luxury property located on Rue Saint Honoré, a famous shopping street just a few steps from the Jardin des Tuileres and Louvre.

Pokud mě ale přecejen nesledujete déle, Mandarin Oriental Paris je 5-i hvězdičkový hotel, který se nachází na známé nákupní třídě Rue Saint Honoré, jen pár minut chůže od Louvre a Jardin des Tuileries.

OUR SUITE ROYAL ORIENTALE

During our stay, we had the chance to stay in one of the hotels most luxurious and expensive suites: in the Suite Royale Orientale located on the 7th floor. The suite was a duplex room: in the first floor you entered to a spacious hall out of which you could also enter the restroom. In the main area of the first floor there was a beautiful and luxurious bar. If you continued on the left, you entered a lounge area and a spacious dining room. On the other side of the room you could relax in the living room. In the part of the room there was also a “working” corner and an entry to our lower terrace which was protected by many flowers and plants. This part was also covered and there were even heaters which means that you can use the terrace all year long - which I think is great! On the second floor there was the Master bedroom connected to a big wardrobe and a bathroom with a bathtub, shower and a restroom. On this floor there was also a bike - this way you can get your workout done right away in the room! Of course, also on this level of the room was a balcony which overviewed the whole city of Paris. I personally loved getting a glass of champagne - or two -, overlooking the city and enjoying the beautiful sunset.

Během našeho pobytu jsme byly ubytované v jedné z nejikoničtějších "suites", která hotel má - a to v krásné, dvoupatrové Suite Royale Orientale. Pokoj se nacházel v 7. patře hotelu a hned po příchodu jste si ocitli v prostorné předsíni, ze které jste přišli ke krásnému baru. V levém křídle prvního patra byla "lounge", ze které jste mohly projít přímo do jídelny. V pravém "křídle" se pak nacházel obrovský obývací pokoj, jehož součástí byla také pracovna a i naše první terasa - ta byla částečně zatřešená a v altánku se nacházely i hřející lampy, takže jste si ho mohli užít takřka celý rok. V druhém patře se pak nacházela prostorná ložnice, u které samozřejmě nechyběla ani šatna, krásná koupelna a také soukromý rotoped. I v druhém patře se nacházela terasa - z této byl náhherný výhled na celou Paříž a dívat se z ní na západ slunce bylo opravdu nádherné.

FOOD & DRINKS

In case you don’t want your breakfast to be delivered to your room, you can enjoy it in the Camélia restaurant. This place is also serving lunch and dinner. During our stay we visited the restaurant for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. They have a special “business lunch menu” where you can get an appetizer and a main course just for 48 EUR. I think this is a very fair price, especially since the dishes are truly delicious. As a starter I went for a tomato soup and continued with a fish fillet with veggies. Both dished were amazing - even if you shouldn’t have the oppurtunity to stay at the hotel, make sure to visit the Camélia! We also took a drink at the Bar 8 - the hotel has a beautiful garden in their inner part which is full of plants, trees, birds, cozy blankets and lights. When you enter this place you really don’t feel like you’re in the middle of Paris anymore. 

Snídani si můžete vychutnat jak na pokoji, tak v hotelové restauraci Camélia, kde se podává také oběd a večeře. My jsme do restaurace zašly na tkz. "business lunch", který stojí 48 EUR a obsahuje předkrm a hlavní chod. Za mě je to opravdu rozumná cena - jídlo bylo opravdovým požitkem! Vyzkoušeli jsme také i Bar 8, jehož součástí je i zahrada, kde je spousta stromů, zeleně, kožešin, ptáků a světýlek. Když si člověk do této zahrady sedne, nemá vůbec pocit, že by byl v centru Paříže. Za mě tahle část Baru 8 stojí opravdu za vyzkoušení!

THE SPA

During our stay I also had the chance to visit The Spa which is located on the lowest floor of the hotel. If you are a hotel guest, you are of course free to use the facilities which include the pool, the relaxing area near the pool, gym or a steam room. As I was traveling for the past days and did not have any time for a massage, I decided to try the spa. I have to say that the experience was amazing. As my main focus was to get rid of stress and tension, I told this to my therapist and she made me feel like a completely new person. The treatment room was really nice as well - there was a big entry hall with a wardrobe which had all the necessities you need for your treatment. There was also a sink, restroom and a shower with a steam. I think that it was a great experience and if you are looking for a way to relax, you definitely have to try this!

Během našeho pobytu jsem nevynechala ani The Spa, kam jsem zašla na masáž. Hotelové spa se nachází v přízemí hotelu a jako host můžete bezplatně využívat bazénu, relaxační zony, páry a také posilovny. Jelikož mým problémem byla bolavá záda a šíje, tohle byl problém, na které se moje masérka soutředila. Musím říct, že jsem odcházela jako znovurozená a celkový zážitek ve spa byl naprosto skvělý.

OVERALL RATING

I think that the fact that this is my third time staying at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Paris speaks for itself. In my opinion was out stay a true experience and everything was more than perfect. I hope to back with the MO Paris family soon!

Myslím, že fakt, že jsme v Mandarin Oriental Paris bydlely již potřetí, mluví za vše. Za mě bylo vše naprosto dokonalé a budu jen doufat, že se do MO v Paříži znovu vrátím!
