OUR STAY AT THE FALKENSTEINER KRONPLATZ

Today I would like to tell you a little bit more about our 4 night stay at the luxurious, 5-star hotel Falkensteiner Kronplatz located in South Tyrol. Krásný večer všem! Doufám, že se všichni máte dobře. Dneska bych Vám ráda ukázala fotky z našeho pobytu v Falkensteiner Kronplatz a také Vám obecně tenhle luxusní hotel představila!

THE LOCATION

This 5-star, adults-only (14+) hotel is located in the village of Riscone (Reischach) and was designed by Matteo Thun. The property has 4 buildings in which you’ll find the hotel restaurant called “7 Summits”, the hotel bar, front desk, a spa area of 1400m2 with a fully equipped gym and yoga room, a ski-room, a restaurant called the 7 Summit and a bar for example. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the ski lift from which you can easily access the lift which will take you directly to the Kronplatz. Even if you do not feel like walking, you have the option to take the shuttle which will take you and your skis. 

Tento luxusní, 5-i hvězdičkový hotel se nachází ve vesničce Riscona, německy Reischach, a to konkrétně v italkém Jižním Tyrolsku. Navržel byl architektem Matteem Thunem a jedná se o "adults-only" hotel, což znamená, že se v něm mohou ubytovat všichni tsarší 14-i let. Hotel je rozdělený do 4 budov, ve kterých se kromě 97 pokojů nachází i 24 hodin otevřená recepce, hotelový bar, restaurace 7 Summit, spa o rozloze 1400m2, posilovna, místnost na jogu a také lyžárna. Hotel se nachází od lanovky, která vede na Kronplatz, jen 5 minut pěší chůze - pokud se Vám ale přecejenom nechce s lyžemi táhnout, můžete využít bezplatného shuttle servisu, který Vás doveze až k lanovce popř. zpět k hotelu.

THE ROOM

During our stay we had the chance to stay in the Junior Suite which was located in the building number 4 on the last, 3rd floor. The room had the perfect size: right after entering the room on the left side of our Suite there was a spacious closet. To be honest most of the hotel closets are TOO SMALL - this one was so big we had a lot of space even with my boyfriend and even with out skiing suits and clothes. On the opposite side you could find then a bathroom with a spacious shower, 2 sinks and also an infra-red room where you could relax and enjoy heat on your spine which to be honest was something I really needed. In the front left side of the room there was a little storage area with mini bar, coffee machine and also a working space. On left from this was a bed with a TV and also a sofa where you could relax at the window and enjoy the views. In the room we also had some gym equipment like a gym ball and a yoga mat. In front the room we had a spacious balcony with 2 chairs with a little coffee table and also a laying bed. Since our room was facing sunset, our favourite thing to do was chilling on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset after skiing.

Během našeho pobytu jsme byli ubytovaní v kategorii "Junior Suite", a konkrétně jsme bydleli v budově číslo 4. a ve 3. patře, které je také nejvyšším patrem budovy. Pokoj měl cca. 50 metrů čtverečních: hned popříchodu do pokoje se po levé straně nacházela prostorná šatna, kam se nám bez problému vešly všechny věci, včetně lyžařských věcí. Dále se na levé straně nacházely také poličky a také kávovar, minibar, stůl a také manželská postel, televize a válenda. Po pravé straně byla pak koupelna, jejíž součástí byl prostorných sprchový kout, 2 umyvadla a také infra-červená kabinka - mít tohle v pokoji mi přišlo naprosto super, jelikož jsem do ní chodila každý den a moc mi pomohla od bolesti zad. V pokoji jsme měli i část vyhrazenou na cvičení: dřevěný žebřík, balon a také podložku na jogu. Podél celého pokoj byl balkon, na kterém byl stůl s 2 židlemi, stoleček a také další válenda. Jelikož jsme měli výhled na západ slunce, na balkonu jsme si ho každý den užívalí se skleničkou vína.

THE AQUAPURA SPA

As already mentioned, the Aquapura Spa has about 1400m2 which are located on 4 floors. On the first floor you can find the front desk where you can book an appointment and where you will be also greeted when you book one. On this floor you will find the treatment rooms, together with some snacks. We both booked a massage which for me was something I really needed: I booked the Hot Stone Massage which helped me to relax - to the max - and made me muscles relax after a week of skiing. They also offer a tailored massage which they can custom to your needs. On the next floor you will find a room with relaxing beds with mountain view and the "sports" pool which has temperature of 30 degrees - in winter - . On the third floor there were many relaxing areas and bed and in the final floor, which was mainly outside, the infinity pool - which was my favourite to be honest - with 34 degrees, the Finnish sauna and the hammam. We felt like this was one of the best spas we have ever been to, especially after skiing every day! 

Jak jsem již psala, Aquapura Spa má 1400 m2 a rozložené je na 4 podlažích. V přízemí najdete recepci, které se můžete dozvědět víc o procedurách a nějakou si také zabookovat. Také se tu nachází masážní pokoje, část se sedačkami, kde si po proceduře můžete odpočinout a také malé snacks jako je ovoce a oříšky. V prvním patře najdete pak vlevo místnost s relaxačními postelemi, ze kterých máte přímý výhled na hory a kopce. Na tomto patře najdete také venkovní "sportovní" bazén, který má přes 30 stupňů. Druhé patro je celé věnované relaxačním postelím a lehátkům. Poslendní, 3. patro, má většinu "atrakcí" venku: a to infinity pool s 34 stupni, který je podle mě naprostým highligtem, hamam a také finskou saunu. My jsme si také zabookovali masáž: relaxační s horkými kameny a "tailored", kterou Vám upraví na míru. Musím říct, že po týdnu lyžovaná to bylo přesně to pravé ořechové!

THE 7 SUMMIT RESTAURANT

During our stay we had the half-board package booked. This included a buffet breakfast which is served in the 7 Summit Restaurant. The hotel is famous for amazing foods which includes also vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. To be honest I think I have never seen such a large selection of gluten-free and lactose-free products during a breakfast buffet: a lactose-free yoghurt and lactose-free butter is something I have to highlight. When it comes to other breakfast dishes you could choose from a large buffet where you could find ham, meat, salamis, cheese, fruits, vegetables, yoghurts, creams, orange juice and prosecco. On the a la carte menu there were many egg dishes - like scrambled eggs, sunny side eggs, omelett - or other warm dishes like porridge, waffles or pancakes. In the afternoon there was also an Afternoon snacks served in the restaurant however we, sadly, never made it there. When it comes to dinner, the experience was absolutely amazing as well. First you started with some bread and 3 family style shared dishes: for example a leek with feta, salmon tataki, fish ceviche or beetroots. Then you could choose your actual starter, main course and dessert from the menu: the traditional one which stayed the same or the 7 Summit menu which changed every day. In the starters selection you could find for example fish ceviche, a soup or a salad. When it comes to main courses there was a steak, a fish dish, tagliatelle and many other options. The food quality was really outstanding I have to say!

Během našeho pobytu jsme měli zabokovaný balíček polopenze, který každému mohu jen doporučit. Snídaně se podávala formou bufetu a to od 7 do 11 hodin v restauraci 7 Summit. Vybrat jste si mohli z bohatého bufetu, ve kterém nechyběl velký výběr šunky, salámů či pršutu, pestrý výběr sýrů, ovoce, zeleniny, pečiva, másla a pomazánek, jogurtů, džusů a prosecca. Opravdu mě mile překvapilo kolik produktů bez lepku a bez laktozy bufet obsahoval: kromě bezlepkového slanéh i sladkého pečiva jste si mohli dát i mléko, jogurt či máslo bez laktozy. Stejně tak se většina pokrmů dala upravit na vegetariánskou a veganskou verzi. Upřímně jsem tolik výběru bez lepku, laktozy a pro vegetariány a vegany na snídani ještě nezažila. Součástí snídaně bylo také menu, ze kterého jste si mohli objednat teplá jídla: míchaná vajíčka, omeletu, kaši, wafle či palačinky. Odpoledne se v restauraci pak servíroval odpolední čaj s jídlem, který mi jsme ale bohužel nikdy nestihli. Večeře začínala v 7 hodin a jako první jste si mohli vychutnat domácí chléb s máslem a 3 "family share style" předkrmy, které jste společně u stolu sdíleli. Pro představu jsme ochutnali například lososové tataki, červenou řepu s kozím sýrem nebo porek s fetou. Dále jste si pak z menu vybrali vlastní předkrm, hlavní chod a dezert. V menu jste našli 2 části: stálou, místní kuchyni a 7 Summit menu, které se každý den měnilo. Pro příklad jsem jako předkrm měla rybí ceviche nebo polévku a jako hlavní chod tresku nebo lososa. Jídlo bylo kvalitní, čerstvé a vždy krásně naservírované, takže lahodilo nejen chuti, ale i oku.

THE OVERALL RATING

Our stay at the Falkensteiner Kronplatz was absolutely amazing and I have nothing to complain about. The service was great, the staff always friendly, the food really delicious and overall our experience was luxurious and relaxing - definitely 10 out of 10 for me!!

Náš pobyt v hotelu Falkensteiner Kronplatz neměl žádnou chybu: servis byl vždy skvělý, personál příjemný a nápomocný, jídlo výborné a náš pobyt obecně bezchybný - za mě rohodně 10 z 10!
