CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY AT THE ANDAZ PRAGUE

Good evening everyone! After some time, I am back with a yearly, traditional post. I turned 26 a couple of days ago and it literally feels like last week when I celebrated my 25th - where did all this time go? I had the chance to welcome my 26th birthday in style at the newly opened Andaz Prague - a 5 star hotel located directly in the heart of Prague. 

Krásný večer všem! Dneska bych s Vámi chtěla sdílet pár fotek z mého pobytu v novém, luxusním 5-i hvězdičkovém hotelu Andaz Prague, který byl otevřen teprve před několika měsíci na Senovážném Náměstí. Já jsem měla tu příležitost v něm oslavit svoje 26. narozeniny.

To be honest, I did not have the highest expectations of the Andaz Prague - and how wrong was I. Right after you enter the hotel you are situated in the hotel bar called MEZ which is furnished in rich, yet welcoming style. I think MEZ is definitely worth the visit even if you are not a guest of the hotel. Left to the bar you can find the restaurant ZEM, an avant-garde bistro combining Japanese and Czech cuisine which is definitely one of a kind menu. This is also where the breakfast is served at. On the right you can proceed to the front desk and lounge area.

Musím říct, že od hotelu jsem neměla skoro žádná očekávání - a opravdu jsem byla vedle. Je potěšením nejden pro oko a chuťové buňky , ale také i pro duši. Hned po vstupu do hotelu se ocitnete v hotelovém baru MEZ, který stojí za návštěvu i pokud v hotelu ubytovaní nebudete. Zařízený je v luxusním interiéru a i jeho cocktaily opravdu stojí za to. Na levé straně se pak nachází avant-gardní restaurace ZEM, která kombinuje chutě české a japonské, čímž je rozhodně jedinečná nejen v celé Praze, ale v celé republice. Napravo pak najdete recepci a také "odpočinkový lounge". 

During our stay, we had the chance to stay in the Sugar Palace Suite which was not only one of the best rooms which I have ever experienced in Prague but also in the whole world. The room is definitely one of the highlights of the property: with 130 square meters it is the biggest room on side. The suite is furbished in a luxurious style with Czech elements. There is a spacious living room with a mini bar area, luxurious sofa which can fit at least 4 to 6 people, a marble fireplace and of course a TV. On the left wing of the room you can also find a lounge area which has very special atmosphere together with the dining area. On the right there is the bedroom with a walk-in closet and of course, a bedroom TV. In this room, you can also enjoy the full marble bathroom which to me felt like a dream! I was very surprised about the interior: to be honest I feel like this is the most thought through hotel in town with the interior absolutely on point. I would like to also highlight that the hotel included many Czech components in the interior and in the menu which I really appreciate: I think it is a great way to teach a little bit about the Czech culture. For me: definitely 11 out of 10!

My jsme měli tu čest být ubytování v  Sugar Palace Suite, který je jedním z největších pokojů v celém hotelu. Celkem se rozléhá na 130 metrech čtverečeních a jeho interiér je opravdových highlightem - musím říct, že za mě osobně, se jednalo o jeden z nejhezčeji zařízených hotelů nejen v Praze, ale i na celém světě. V přední části pokoje byl obývací pokoj, jehož součástí byl minibar, velká luxusní sedačka, mramorový krb, televize a i "loungová" area a také jídelní stůl. V druhé části pokoje se pak nacházela ložnice s šatníkem a také luxusně zařízená koupelna. Musím přiznat, že jsem byla opravdu víc jak překvapená: hlavně i proto, že hotel do svého interiéru a menu zakomponoval i české komponenty, což mě osobně moc potěšilo. Za mě rozhodně 11 bodů z 10!
