Good afternoon everyone! The wedding season is definitely not over yet - which is why I am back with some tips on how to get dressed as a wedding guest! So in case you are getting dressed for someone's special day soon, make sure to continue reading this post.
Krásné odpoledne všem! Svatební sezona ještě zdaleka není u konce, a proto tu mám článek pro všechny, které se na svatbu chystají. Pokud tápáte s tím, co na sebe, tak rozhodně pokračujte ve čtení!
1. GO WITH THE DRESS CODE
We all know white, off white and black it's off limits when going to a wedding (unless stated otherwise) - however you should also check out the dress code wishes from the lucky couple (which can be usually found on the invitations). We decided to go for a formal dress code at our wedding which I think looked so lovely - I loved seeing everyone dressed up & looking nice!
Všichni víme, že bílá, béžová a černá jsou "off limits" (pokud si to tedy pár nepřeje jinak). Nezapomeňte i tak se snažit dodržet daný dress code (který většinou najdete na pozvánce). My jsme na naši svatbu zvolili formální dress code, a musím říct, že mě moc potěšilo vidět všechny naše hosty hezky oblečené společně s námi.

2. INVEST INTO AN INVISIBLE BRA

Dalším krokem je volba vhodné podprsenky - mít někde vidět ramínka nebo ukázat to, co se vidět nemá, nechceme každá z nás. Podprsenku stačí jen nalepit na kus oblečení a pak si přidržet poprsí v pozici, ve které byste ho chtěly mít. Dále pak jen neviditelnou podprsenku nalepíte na místo, kde by měla držet. 3. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES
When going to a wedding, you pretty sure count with being there for a couple of hours, or even longer. Therefore wearing comfortable shoes is definitely a must - I prefer to wear thicker heeled sandals for wedding in which I can last the whole night!
Dalším krokem k úspěchu je volba pohodlné obuvi. Já sama nejraději na svatby nosím pohodlné sandálky s tlustším podpatkem, ve kterých vydržím nejen celý den, ale i celou noc.
4. BE AWARE OF CULTURE
Before going to the big event, be also sure to check the different cultural aspects of weddings: did you know at Chinese wedding the brides wears red, traditionally? It's definitely good to check out the cultural aspects before choosing your dress!
Kromě dress codu se určitě informujte i o kulturních aspektech: věděli jste, že například v Číně nevěsta nosí tradičně červené šaty? Proto by se hosté měli této barvě vyvarovat!
5. CONSIDER THE WEATHER, TIME & LOCATION
Last tip is to consider the weather, time and location. For a summer wedding your outfit will be definitely different than to a winter wedding. Also if the weather is happening during the noon the weather will be hotter than during the evening. Is it inside? You probably won't need a jacket then!
Mým posledním tipem je učitě braní v potaz počasí, lokaci a také čas, ve který se svatba koná. Pokud je svatba vevnitř, určitě si budu moci obout boty na vyšším podpatku a vyrazit mohu bez saka nebo bundy. Pokud se ale svatba koná na jaře a venku, bude můj outfit vypadat určitě úplně jinak.
