Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all doing well. Today I prepared for you a post about Paris: I've been to this French capital good 20 times yet I never published a guide. So, I thought it was the perfect time to change that and share with you some of my favourite spots, restaurants and my secret tips for the city!
Krásné odpoledne všem! Doufám, že se všichni máte dobře. Dnes jsem si pro Vás připravila další z mých "guides", to z Paříže. V hlavním městě Francie jsem byla již tak 20x, ale vlastně jsem o něm nikdy žádného průvodce nesepsala. Myslím, že dnes je právě nejvyšší čas to napravit!
WHERE TO STAY?
I personally recommend staying. at the luxurious, 5-star Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris. The hotel is perfect for many reasons: the luxury it provides it its guests, the delicious food, high-end service, friendly staff and also the interior which is a true masterpiece. The interior of the hotel will is a showcase of modern and contemporary art - the hotel is basically a combination between the traditional French style and modern art. Besides the accommodation and the restaurants and bar, you can enjoy one of the perks which is the Spa My Blend By Clarins offering - a swimming pool with the relaxing area, 7 treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, 3 individual rooms for yoga or for example a private hair dresser. There is also possibility to hold a conference in one of their rooms or perhaps watch a movie in their private cinema. In total, there are 85 rooms and 64 suites. We had the oppurtunity to stay in the Junior Suite with the Avenue Hoche view. The room was very spacious and designed in a luxurious style in a combination of modern and traditional style. Once you entered the room, there was a big long hallway which lead to the living room. In this area you could enjoy the couch, the TV, the table and of course also a minibar. Nearby you could also find the working desk and a closet which was full of mirrors - definitely an element which you will meet in the hotel a lot. In the second part of the room there was the bed, facing another TV. In the corner there was a comfy chair with a guitar and on the other side of the room the bathroom was located: again, full of mirrors which I loved. There was a big bathtub, a spacious shower, restroom and the sink area. We also had a tiny balcony where you could step on and enjoy the view of the Arc de Triomphe.
5-i hvězdičkový hotel Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris je skvělou volbou z mnoha důvodů: nabízí luxusní zážitek, má vždy skvělé jídlo, top servis, příjemný personál a také interior, který v Paříži, ani jinde ve světě, nenajdete. Je totiž zařízený v kombinaci tradičního, francouzského stylu a moderního stylu. Kromě ubytování a restaurací se v hotelu nachází luxusní Spa My Blend by Clarins, ve kterém si můžete jít zaplavat do krytého bazénu, zrelaxovat v jedné ze 7 privátních pokojů, kde se dají zabookovat jak masáže, tak i kosmetické procedury, 3 pokoje, ve kterých si můžete zacvičit jógu, zajít do sauny, páry nebo se objednat k místnímu kadeřníkovi. V hotelu najdete i několik konferenčních místností, včetně privátního kina - které je opravdovou třešničkou na dortu. Ubytovat se můžete v jednom z 85 pokojů a 64 suites. My jsme byly ubytované v kategorii Junior Suite, a to z jedné z nich, která měla výhled na Vítězný oblouk. Hned po příchodu do pokoje jste prošli chodbou, která vedla do obývacího pokoje. V tom se nacházela sedačka se stolem, televize a také minibar. Hned vedle byla pak pracovní plocha. Kousek od ní jste mohli vstoupit do prostorné šaty, vedle které se hned nacházela koupelna - s vanou, sprchovým koutem, toaletou a 2 umyvadly. Obě místnosti byly oblepené zrcadly, což byl opravdový "meisterstück". Na druhé straně pokoje se nacházela pak postel s druhou televizí, komfortní křeslo a také kytara, která nechybí v každém pokoji. Součástí pokoje byly také 2 menší balkónky, ze kterých bylo vidět na Vítězný oblouk a Avenue Hoche.
WHAT TO DO?
- Galeries Lafayette: Make sure to stop by one of the most famous and oldest department stores in Paris! You will find anything from food over clothes to luxury bags. At the top, there is also a free accessible rooftop where you can ice skate in the wintertime!
- Jardin des Tuileries: Relax and enjoy this Parisian park with many flowers, statues and water. This is the perfect place to sit down, read a book and just enjoy the atmosphere of Paris.
- Boat Tour on the river Seine: Book a tour on the river Seine and enjoy the memorable view on the Eiffel Tower.
- Treatment at Biologique Recherche Ambassade: Looking to get spoiled? Make sure to visit the Biologique Recherche Ambassade located at Champs Elysées. They provide face treatments, body treatments, nail and other beauty procedures!
- La Galerie Dior: If you love fashion, then you simply must visit the La Galerie Dior at 11 Rue Fraçois! You will learn more about the history of this iconic brand and you will also get the chance to see some of their most iconic designs. PS: There is a cute Dior café as well!
- Galeries Lafayette: Zastavte se v jedné z nejznámějších nákupních galerií na světě! V Galerie Lafayette najdete vše od potravin přes luxusní oblečení a doplňky až po věci do domácnosti. Ze své střechy má navíc krásný výhled na celou Paříž (který je zadarmo) a ve vánočním čase je krásně nezdobená!
- Jardin des Tuileries: Na chvilku si sedněte, odpočiňte si a nadechněte pařížskou atmosféru v Jardin des Tuileries, v jednom z nejznámějších pařížských parků. V létě tu najdete nespočet židlí, spoustu květin, soch a také zeleně! V zimě je tu pak "Christmas Village", nebo-li menší vánoční trh, kde si můžete koupit svařené víno, něco malého k snědku a nebo si můžete jít zabruslit!
- Boat Tour on the river Seine: Zabookujete si projížďku lodí po řece Seině, ze které uvidíte Paříž zase trochu jinak, a hlavně budete mít nezapomenutelný výhled na Eiffelovu věž.
- Treatment at Biologique Recherche Ambassade: Pokud si chcete dopřát trochu "selfcare", zajděte do Ambassade Biologique Recherche na Champs Elysees a dopřejte svému tělu, pleti nebo rukám špičkovou péči!
- La Galerie Dior: Pokud jste milovníkem módy, určitě zajděte do Galerie Dior, kde se můžete dozvědět víc o historii značky Dior, prohlédnout si jejich ikonické šaty a také zajít do Cafe Dior, které je součástí exhibice!
WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK?
- Il Carpaccio at Le Royal Monceau: If you are craving amazing Italian food in a beautiful setting and interior, you definitely have to visit the Il Carpaccio inside of Le Royal Monceau.
- Matsuhisa at Le Royal Monceau: In this Japanese restaurant you can enjoy lunch and dinner. The restaurant has also a beautiful outside area called "The Secret Garden" which is open during the summertime and in the wintertime has beautiful decorations. Generally, in Matsuhisa you can enjoy high culinary dishes from the Japanese and Peruvian cuisine which were created by the chef Nobu Matsuhisa!
- Le Cafe Marly: One of my favourite spots to get a coffee or a glass of champagne is Le Marly which is located right in Louvre, overlooking the Louvre pyramids. They are open from 8.30 until midnight and I think their view is simply amazing!
- L'Avenue: Another my to-go-to place is L'Avenue which is the IT place to be seen at. Located at Avenue Montaigne, this restaurant belongs to the favourite ones of the Kardashians, Bella Hadid or Justin Bieber! Personally I recommend trying out their tuna tartare and berries with cream!
- Lou Lou: I love visiting Lou Lou especially in the summer time - they have an amazing outside seating area located in the Jardin des Tuileries from which you can see the Louvre. On the menu you will find dishes like truffle pasta or truffle pizza which I think both taste so good!
- Laduree: Would it be a visit of Paris without trying the macarons? Definitely no! My place to go to is Laduree which you will see a lot in Paris. No matter if you decide to sit down or take it as take-away, Laduree is a must!
- Mun: Located on Champs Elysees, Mun is an Asian-fusion rooftop restaurant which has the perfect view on the Eiffel Tower. I definitely recommend you to make a reservation in advance as it is quite popular!
- Sequoia: Sequoia can be found at the very top of the hotel Kimpton St. Honore and offers great views both on the Eiffel Tower and Opera Garnier. It opens in the evening and on the menu there are cocktails, wine and small bites!
- Il Carpaccio at Le Royal Monceau: Pokud si chcete vychutnat špičkovou italskou kuchyni v krásném prostředí, zajděte do Il Carpaccio v hotelu Le Royal Monceau, která pro Vás bude jedinečným zážitkem!
- Matsuhisa at Le Royal Monceau: Všichni milovníci japonské kuchyně by neměli vynechat restauraci Matsuhisa, která nabízí pokrmy z japonské a peruánské kuchyně, a její menu sestavil světoznámý šékuchař Nobu Matsuhisa. Součástí restaurace je také letní zahrada "The Secret Garden", která je otevřená v letních měsících a ve vánočním čase je také krásně nazdobená!
- Le Cafe Marly: Jeden z mých oblíbených spotů v Paříži je Le Cafe Marly, které se nachází hned vedle muzea Louvre a má tak jedinečný výhled právě na jeho pyramidy. Otevřeno mají od 8.30 do půlnoci, takže ať už si vybere jakýkoliv čas návštěvy, určitě bude stát za to!
- L'Avenue: Další moje "to go to" restaurace je L'Avenue, kterou si oblíbila i spousta hvězd, jako např. Karshians, Justin Bieber nebo Bella Hadid.
- Lou Lou: Lou Lou je další mých oblíbených míst, a to hlavně v letním období, kdy mají v provozu svojí letní zahradu s výhledem na Louvre. Na menu najdete například pizzu s lanýži, skvělé těstoviny s lanýži a také spoustu skvělých cocktailů!
- Laduree: Co by to bylo za výlet do Paříže bez návštěvy Ladureé? Ať už si vezmete jen pár makronek "to go" a nebo si sejdete a vychutnáte si dezert na místě, návštěvu Ladureé byste určitě neměli vynechat,
- Mun: Tahle Asian-fusion restaurace se nachází na rooftopu na Champs Elysees, a kromě skvělého jídla své hosty láká i svým výhledem na Eiffelovku.
- Sequoia: Sequoia je rooftop, který je součástí hotelu Kimpton St. Honoré a nabízí jedinečný pohled na Eiffelovu věž, Operu Garnier a celé město. Návštěvu doporučuji především v letních měsících!
